GIFFGAFF: WHY WOULDN’T YOU?

Working alongside a creative partner, we received a brief from GiffGaff, with the objective of increasing awareness around the fact they sell refurbished phones.

We sat down and realised very quickly that, pride aside, there’s no reason why you’d not purchase a refurbished phone. It’s been tried and tested - unlike a brand new one - still has a warranty, is great for the economy, and is even better for your pocket!

After all of this we figured the only question left to ask was ‘Why Wouldn’t You?’ which became the basis of our response to the brief - an integrated campaign focusing on the feeling of freedom derived from making the right choice - for you and the planet.

With sustainability and sustainable action being surrounded by the discourse of sacrifice - habits, likes, finances - large groups of people from different socio-economic backgrounds are alienated.

By changing the language around sustainable action to broaden the environmental movement, we allow everyone to feel they have the means to make decisions that are both financially and environmentally sound.
